History

The Pizzo Scalino Residence was born from a long family tradition of passion and hospitality. From a simple mountain hut it has become a point of reference in Valmalenco, maintaining intact the authentic spirit of home that still welcomes every guest.

Since 1950, the Hotel Pizzo Scalino has been owned by the Cabello-Pedrotti family, who have worked with constant commitment to create what is now a cosy 4-star holiday paradise facing the mountains.

Over the years since then, the hotel has gone through various phases of reconstruction: in 1964 it was expanded and in 1970 the Club 2000/2001 discotheque, which was very popular in the valley, was opened and closed in 1997.

In the year 2001, the family hotel was refurbished: the 4-star Hotel Residence Pizzo Scalino, five floors, 29 Suites - Apartments, was built.
